Media Communication Center

Media Communication Center provides the professionalism, prestige, reliability and wide coverage of each debate and conferences.
In cooperation with the media we reach the public with information on major economic, political, and media events. Debates are a place of independent exchange of views with representatives of politics, economy and media.
Topics of debate and discussion seminars are each determined in accordance with new regulations and the problems of the industry. Debates are held both in the House of the Journalist in Warsaw and in other public places with a neutral spirit.
Additional tasks of the Centre are:
-organization of information campaigns,
-media training and press conferences.

Annually, the Center organizes dozens of debates and seminars each year, allowing an exchange of views of participants from various sectors and provides support to the media
in this areas.

• Energy and Environmental Protection
• Health and Medicine
• Infrastructure ,Transport, Telecom
• Public Procurement
• Local Government

Conferences are open to academics, media industry professionals, government agencies, policymakers, regulators, national agencies, donors, research groups, civil society organizations, independent consultants and experts .

Managing Director of the Centre is Monika Mizielińska-Chmielewska, as both a director of Media Trend and Media Communication Center.

Monika Mizielińska – Chmielewska

Graduate of the Warsaw University’s Management Faculty.  Having completed her studies at the Warsaw University with honors (master’s thesis in the field of  marketing and advertising) in the years 1988-89 she attended the post-graduate studies at the Vienna University of Economics. During her studies she had also obtained the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry certificate in English for Economics and fluent German language.

In 1993 the Polish Business Club awarded her with the title of “Businesswoman of the Year 1992”.  Since many years she is a member of the Council for Public Procurement System in Poland.

In 1995 the international telecommunications corporation, Nortel has granted her   special award for achievements in marketing telecommunications systems in Europe.

In 1998 she received an honorary distinction of “Merit for Telecommunications” from the Minister of Communications, while in 1999 the Society of Polish Electrical Engineers presented her with an honorary distinction for “Involvement in the Organizational Committee of the World Telecommunications Day 1999”.

Since 1989 to 2000 she has been the head of Kapsch Company in Poland responsible for public relations and implementation of many large telecommunications infrastructure projects, i.e., integrated network facility for buildings of the Polish President’s Office, modernization of the PKP (state railways) telecommunications network, as well as the Call Center System for T.P.S.A.  and Polkomtel S.A

In the years 1999-2000 she was Vice-President of the Foundation for the Support and Development of Telecommunications and Multimedia Techniques at the Warsaw Technical University. In 1999 the Home & Market monthly ranked her among the 25 most successful managers, while in 2000 the same newspaper placed her on the list of the 50 most influential women selected by the press spokesmen chapter of financial institutions.

Since 2000 she is leading her own company Media Trend Ltd. acting in the field of media and public relations. Media Trend is leading the Media Communication Centre –organisation for public debates about economy, telecom, transport and health. The biggest world and polish companies, media and politic organisations are cooperating with Media Trend for organization of more than 100 press conferences, debates and public relation actions per year. In the Year 2006 Media Trend has received the award-Warsaw Quality Sign.

She carries out cooperation with many major media, such as: TVP SA, Polish Radio, Zycie Warszawy, Commonwealth, Review, Newspaper Transport, Business Pulse, and many others, is a magazine columnist for a golf magazine “Golfista”.
For years, she is the co-organizer of the celebration of World Information Society Day, being a member of the Organizing Committee.
